Hi people... !!!!
I’m sorry I’ve been off for a little while.. a week, reason being that I deleted my blog and my social media apps🙂 and that’s because I decided to make a big deal out of a small issue. When I realized my mistakes and how foolish I acted, I tried to get my blog back and thanks to wix, they moved my website to the trash so I was able to get it back.
Today I’m going to be sharing with you one if not the most embarrassing moment I’ve ever had.(not really embarrassing tho). Like I mentioned in one of my post(I’ll leave the link below), my school has this funny 7:00pm rule.. (You must not be caught with the opposite sex once it’s 7:00pm.) On this faithful day, I went to the school building to read with my friends.. about three of us. After reading; we decided to head to the cafe to get dinner and that’s around 7:05pm if I’m not mistaken. We got to the cafe and we discovered that the queue was a bit long, I mean everyone was trying to get food because cafe closes by 8:00pm.
(I don’t understand why I’m smiling as I’m typing this but it’s wasn’t funny that day)😂💔

We decided to hang around a little bit before heading back to the hostel. We were outside the cafe and then these three guys walked up to us. I actually saw one of them in the cafe and we exchanged pleasantries. I think about two of them are my coursemates but I only relate with one of them.
Basically they were standing in front of us and there was a clear distance between us about 6-8ft.. There was no body contact or whatever, and then this police van pulled up in front of us. At first everyone thought it was because of the nose-mask issue, and we were all on nose mask but this man refused to leave, for about 3-4 minutes his van was still packed there, right in front of us with his headlight on. After about 4 minutes, this man decided to speak, he was like “have you guys forgotten about the 7:00pm rule.. he said something annoying which I really can’t remember and he drove off.
“What the hell just happened???.... In front of everyone 🥴”

I felt so embarrassed because it makes absolutely no sense to me, there’s no body contact, there was a clear distance between us.. so what’s the issue. I went to my hostel out of annoyance and then I messaged one of my close friends who’s also in the same school but he’s in 200l. After explaining everything to him, he was like madam.. calm your nerves. Stop making a big issue out of nothing. I felt quite better after speaking to him tho 😂💔 but to be very honest, if I had the opportunity to leave that school that night, I would gladly leave.

Like Diane Domeyer said, “Everyone has embarrassing moments at work — it shows we’re all human. The best way to handle awkward moments is to gracefully move on, and, if possible, try to find humor in the situation.” So it’s very okay to have quite a number of embarrassing moments.
I’m open to conversations and friendships, feel free to contact me using any of the options on the blue button with white dots below.
XOXO❤️
