I’m Okanlawon Rotimi Emmanuel, the CEO of Vision Auto-mart vpl. Part of my many dreams is to combine education and business technology in Automobile Engineering and also contribute to humanity. This is why I have to start the journey early enough and truly, it is my passion and drive.

My Story.

I’m a teenager who believes that education is not the ultimate therefore I have little interest in it. Let’s say I’m an average student. I’m also a shy guy, I find it difficult to talk in public. I’ve been a victim of bullying. All these motivated me to start something on my own. At first, I was confused. I really didn’t know what to do. I tried reading books which I find boring and I also made some research online. I was able to get 3 mentors from different countries (USA, Dubai and some other countries). I communicated with them through emails and I also attended some of their online classes.

I actually wanted to drop out of school in Year 11( SS2) so I can have the time to start something but my parents never allowed that. When I got to Year 12, I enrolled in a road side mechanic work shop so I can learn the basics without my parents knowing although my Dad was suspicious when he came back because he was abroad when I started. Along the line, my dad discovered that I was learning in a road side workshop so he took me in an automobile company to learn more about automobile. I did that for about a year. I also wanted to have a business of my own so I can contribute to humanity. I created a website which my Dad paid for and I also tried a social media accounts for my business. I got a piece of land at Ogijo, Ogun state. From there, I started marketing my business. I started with diagnosis and I was also able to get all my professional tools last year. I got myself a customized T-shirt which makes me unique. Although most times, people are always doubting me because of my age but that didn’t stop me.

I have worked for different people.. ... a music producer, a pilot, a staff of keystone bank, my school administrator and so many people. All the videos are on my YouTube channel. I have also been to Kantanka Showroom at Ghana.

Although it has not been easy for me. It has been very challenging but my passion is what keeps me going.

My Advice to young teenagers:

If you have a vision, work towards it. The real truth is that it’s not easy but you need to keep striving. Don’t mind what people say but let your result speak for you. Follow your heart and take action. Try to get out of your comfort zone and do something with your hands.
