ON TURNING 17.

Yet another year,

To love and be loved,

To be brave, wiser and be better

Hopefully should make better me.

Today, I’m a year older and like I said in my previous post I’m not ready to deal with the feeling of being “17” because I realized that “the older you get, the more responsibilities you get”.

This year, I planned to go out, have fun, take breath-taking pictures but I guess life happened and I didn’t go through with that anymore. (Like Cassie Daves said, “I tend to do a lot more imagining than getting things done”).

It’s a bit weird and funny for me to me excited about my birthday( the countdowns, the hypes) because I really don’t take my birthday serious not to talk of celebrating it. My birthdays is like every other days.

I’m grateful to God for life and for growth. I’m happy there’s a big difference between where I’m now and where I was on my last birthday. My life has been a little bit meaningful although I still deal with the feeling of “not doing/being enough”.

I hope I’ll be more serious with my life this year. I really want to get a lot of things done on my blog and my personal business but I think I’m being lazy, so I hope this year will come with more than enough energy and strength I need to get things done.

I pray this new year will be filled with good memories, adventures and a whole lot of fun. I still haven’t done a lot of things I would love to do but I hope I’ll get it all done this year; (if not all, at least part of it.)

I’m currently lying on my bed, still don’t know what my day would look like but I hope this would be the best birthday I’ve ever celebrated.

To Seventeen, please be kind to me.
