Honestly, I feel I need to start a podcast so that I’ll be able to communicate well because topics like this, it’s more interesting when we talk about it than writing about it but I hope you’ll enjoy this write up.😉😉

It’s valentine month, a month for lovers. 😚😚🥺 Well, I’ll say valentine is a season of love, it’s a season to spread love. You know, love is in the air.

There’s more to valentine than the surprise gifts, chocolates, gifts hampers. Of course, all these things are really cool. Who doesn’t like gifts😂😂 but are you really celebrating it ?

Valentine was originally a religious celebration. It was celebrated in some orthodox churches and some of these orthodox churches still observe it till date. There are so many stories about St. Valentine but the summary is that Saint Valentine was selfless. He died because of love.

For me, valentine has been like a normal day. There’s nothing really special about it but for some people, Valentine is a very special day. Of course it’s a special day to celebrate love and affections but are we really showing love.

I really like the idea of exchanging gifts on Valentine day. If you someone you really love and admire, whether it’s your friend, your sister, your brother, your mom, you can appreciate that person with gifts. It shouldn’t only be your lover and for ladies with lovers, please there’s nothing bad if you give your partner a gift. Don’t just collect the gift without giving any GIFT in return.

Recently, I read a story of a lady or let’s say a confession. The lady was sharing the story of her life and how she got disvirgined on Valentine’s Day. The story was quite touching. So many atrocities will be committed on February 14th but remember, one minute enjoyment, everlasting regret. Don’t do something you’ll regret in the future.

It’s very okay to be without a Val, very very okay. Don’t do anything stupid because you’re looking for a Val. You can get yourself a gift on Valentine’s Day, take yourself on a date, pamper yourself. That’s self love. Don’t give yourself headache, don’t lower your standards because you’re looking for a Val. There’s time for everything, one day you’ll find the perfect Val.

We’re celebrating love but are you really showing love to those around you. The person you refused to forgive because of one little thing, mehn you’re not God now, We offend God and even God forgives so who are you not to forgive your fellow human?🌚🌚🌚

That girl that has been asking for your help, are you to big to offer assistance?

That classmate of yours that you haven’t talk to since last year, drop a message for him/her. Don’t wait for him/her to message you first. You really can’t tell what he/she is going through. That person that has always been there for you, even if you can’t buy him/her a card, send the person a thank you message.

If we‘re quick to spread love as we spread hatred and negativity, what an amazing world we would love in. Spread love not virus. 😂😉.
